O/π is an umbrella brand with a focus on creating innovative curated events incorporating DIY music, arts and performance (like Wormwood :: absinthe & psychedelia).
It's other stuff too... like managing, representing, touring and promoting bands/producers; championing artists and collectives; getting like-minded people in contact to collaborate on new projects and a heap of other uncatergorisable activities that occupy time, space and a third dimension in the brain...
The emphasis is on fringe music and arts that stimulate.

Octopus Pi’s Kimb Galceran was asked to do a mix for awesome music blog TOOTHS.
The final product is just under 30 minutes of warped classics and tripped out samples that’s well worth lending your ear to!
MIXCRAFT @ WORMWOOD
We recently put a call-out for people to contribute to Wormwood with their ideas and inspirations. Simon is one person who got in contact to join the crew in hosting mixed-tape sessions at the Wormwood events, check out what’s in store and get involved…
In a mission to spread the good word of this all-encompassing thing we call music, Mixcraft is an opportunity to share your favourite tracks to a new audience of strangers and acquaintances. We invite you to put 5 tracks of music that you feel everyone should hear, whether it’s a dusty relic of yesteryear or fresh off the record press.
We encourage the Wormwood spirit of psychedelia and whatever curveballs you throw into the mix, but anything goes. The evening’s mixes will be chosen by the wormwood elders based on their flow, variation and downright aural brilliance. Try to keep the tracks to no more than 10 minutes in length and maybe that Merzbow B-side isn’t the best choice for a Saturday night. 5 mixes will be played on the evening, so start compiling those nuggets and come and see who else gets down to your choices on April 14th.
The mixes will be uploaded onto the Wormwood Soundcloud page for you to enjoy again and again. Send your file share site link or CD with artwork attached to wormwood.mixcraft@gmail.com.

The Wormwood series launches again for a stint in 2012 including plans for a one-off in Melbourne and other exciting shit hidden up some fancy wizard sleeves.
We’re looking for collaborators with a unique talent, skill or resources to collaborate with us on one-off or on-going projects!
Are you a performance artist, visual/installation artist, decor designer, post-production sound engineer, short-film producer or advanced hacky sack operator? (Thats a joke, or is it?). Are you positive, creative and not motivated my money? Maybe you have an idea or concept you’d love to see put into action but can’t get off your stoned ass to make it happen?
We want to know you!
We believe in giving full credit and not exploiting people for cash, wow.
We want to create new experiences for people, host exceptional music and blow some freaking minds.
